Captain'S Quarters Resort, Myrtle Beach

Our stay had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, with great views of the ocean and easy beach access. The room was spacious with comfy beds, but it had a lingering smell from past smoking and lacked quality comforters for cooler nights. We enjoyed the pool and arcade, but were bothered by noise from the renovations and loud guests at night. Overall, it was a pleasant experience despite a few setbacks.

While the hotel has some lovely features and is situated close to the beach, it falls short in cleanliness and maintenance. The room we had was comfortable and included a kitchen, but we encountered issues like broken appliances and an unkempt atmosphere. The amenities, especially the lazy river, were enjoyable, but the overall state of the property left much to be desired.

I had a really frustrating experience staying at this hotel. While I appreciated the effort of the staff to help us after everything went wrong, it felt like the facility itself was poorly managed and in dire need of repairs. The room we ended up with didn’t match what we had paid for, and the amenities were not up to par. I would not recommend this place unless major improvements are made.

My stay at this resort was quite disappointing. While I appreciated the location and access to the beach, the cleaning and maintenance of the rooms left much to be desired. The pools were nice but overcrowded and poorly monitored. Overall, I was not impressed, especially given the high price for the stay.
